Get a session is open and a user is logged in from main page of the website

Hello,
I installed useBB forum on directory website/forum.
I the user to be able to see that he/she is logged in on the forum from website main page.
Can you help me?

I couldn't really understand your question. Do you mean that the user should see the domains index page when s/he is actually logged into the forum which you've installed user the said directory ?
I understand exactly what you mean, like having your users connected to your main site. Unfortunately I have no idea how to do such a thing, although it's possible to learn from google.
