The UseBB Team is happy to announce version 1.0 RC3 of the light and Open Source PHP/MySQL bulletin board package "UseBB".

Version 1.0 RC3 is the third release candidate of the completed version 1.0. Changes include but are not limited to:
- a few bug fixes throughout the board;
- possibility to easily disable the XHTML content-type.

Upgrading is, as always, recommended. Visit http://www.usebb.net/downloads/ for downloads. Information about upgrading is available in the docs/index.html document.

We would like people to test this version as much as possible, and to report bugs to the community forums.

Yay. Isn't available from my mirror yet, so I'll upgrade tomorrow (on my local installation).

Is there many template changes in this version? Or do you have a list of changed files so that I don't have to overwrite everything when i upgrade??

Thanks ^_^

I would like to know that too. I'm working on a skin for UseBB. :)

As you can see in CVS, there were no changes in the template since RC2.

Thank you. I'll check there in the future. ;)

Uploaded a fresh copy, added database info into config.php(correct or not, makes no difference), up and running with no issues that I can see so far.

Oh ok then thanks, i'll just check the CVS to see if any of the core files that I edited need to be updated.

would it be possible to offer 2 packete in the future?
one complete packet with all files for new users.
and one with just the new updatet files from the last version ?

that would be really nice :)

Good work Dietrich, also updated my forum.

I like the changes in the ACP. Keep up the good work.

Wow, this is awesome dude, :)
